Award winning Daily Images
As we gradually put back up on line barganews after the move from the American servers to European servers in London please give a warm welcome for the return this week to barganews after a month away - the award winning photographer O'Connor is back.
Call in on his own site; Daily Images which as the title suggests, is a daily visual diary of life in Barga.
The subtitle of his site, "tradition and change in a small community" gives us a little more insight into just what he is attempting with his on-line images.
He tells us that it should be read as a continuous piece of work and not just a question of picking and choosing pretty images, although there are many pretty images in there, they should be taken as a whole to give a wider more fully picture/idea of just what it means to be living in a Barga in the 21st century.
