Finally some Italian music in the piazza … sung by Italians, using the Italian language and singing about Italian things. Enough of the fake American music …. now it’s time for the Manolo Strimpelli Nait Orkestra.
A fine concert in Piazza Angelio this evening from the Lucca based band.
The threatened rain kept away leaving the group the whole evening to entertain the crowd in the piazza.
Well done Manolo Strimpelli and the band and also a pat on the back for Riccardo at the L’Osteria who organised the whole thing.
A great video from the band from Lucca Manolo Strimpelli Nait Orchestra.
It nicely sums up living in the nearby city of Lucca and hidden in there is a couple of images of our very own outsider musician Silvano Togneri who died last year and is still greatly missed in Barga
– Luca Galeotti

With a language we all understand”

lo potevi anche scrivere in italiano allora…
Dici a me?
