Bargajazz 2007 - turnaround - Gioviano
The Bargajazz 2007 festival continues with a series of events in and around Barga - the turnaround concerts.
Last night jazz lovers were packed into the tiny village of Gioviano, just above Borgo a Mozzana, to listen to and watch the Nicoletta Manzini Quintet in action.

Il 6 agosto a Gioviano (Borgo a Mozzano) nell’ambito della manifestazione Notti d’Arte un gruppo nato dall’incontro di due giovani jazziste la cantante Michela Lombardi e la sassofonista Nicoletta Manzini. Ad accompagnarle Piero Frassi al pianoforte, Nino Pellegrini al contrabbasso e Carlo Battisti alla Batteria alla batteria

- w le piante : la gente non si fida piu' perche' troppi alberi sono stati abbattuti inutilmente, significa che non c'e' rispetto per le piante e quindi per la natura. come mai questi alberi sono sopravvissuti tutti questi anni e improvvisamente si ammalano e diventano pericolosi? forse dovremmo rivedere il modo in cui le piante vengono potate e fare piu' prevenzione?!?

- rgentosi : We just arrived home to the US from Barga on Thursday night. We miss Barga already. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Fontana with our lovely hosts, Susi and Ron. We have family in the area, the Santini and Gentosi families, who treated us like royalty. We can't wait for a return visit!
