Archbishop of Pisa in San Pietro in Campo

As we reported last year in September (article here) the Church at San Pietro in Campo just outside Barga, which was shut for over three years so that extensive renovations could take place, re-opened its door to the public and started to work inside the community once again.
On that day the Archbishop of Pisa, Mons. Alessandro Plotti was present at the opening and this week he was once again visiting the church for the Confirmation ceremony taken by members of the parish living in San Pietro in Campo, Albiano e Mologno.
As some of you have already noticed, we have a new photographer on barganews – Matteo Casci from San Pietro in Campo who has already published a number of articles here on the site - Sacro Cuore il Carnevale dei Ragazzi and La Befana at Arsenale
