		<description>Hamish: really nice article. There seem to be fewer rock martins swooping round Barga than last year. It would be hard to blame them for thinking tht they might stay in Africa a bit longer this year. But I always worry that they&#039;ve met with some calamity en route.
As to all the progressive policies introduced in Scotland, it&#039;s of course the rest of us who pay for them but can&#039;t get the equivalent benefits ourselves. So I&#039;m all for Scottish independence...</description>
