Some fine black and white images in the Galleria Comunale this week from the Roman photographer Aldo Castellani.
The exhibition is entitled “Tra il bianco e il nero” and shows some of the work that Aldo has been producing over the last 20 years rigorously in black and white.
Included in a glass case in the gallery is the copy of Aldo’s book on photography – that too with the title “Tra il bianco e il nero” and unfortunately the only copy so far printed.
At the opening for the exhibition discussions took place between the photographer and representatives from the comune with the ideas of launching a further collaboration in the future between Barga and photographers from Rome .
