Almost a year to the day and Marisa Firato is back in Barga with an exhibition of her latest oil paintings. Last year she was exhibiting at the Gallery Comunale (article here) This time she has put her work on display in the larger space down in Barga Giardino which can be found at the Sala Scuola dell’Infanzia in Piazza G Pascoli.

The exhibition can be viewed until the 24th July from 10.30 in the morning until 1 pm and then opens again the afternoon at 5 pm until 8 pm. Included on the walls are a series of paintings dedicated to Giacomo Puccini. Make sure you also see the small painting of the passageway next to the Palazzo Balduini in Barga Vecchia. As we have already published in other articles (here) there has been intense speculation on the final colour on the restored facade of the building but it would seem that the Marisa Firato was once step ahead of everybody else. – article here
