150 Vespa on the roads of Barga

The first inter regional meeting for the Barga Vespa Club got off to a good start today with over 150 vespa taking part in the rally around the area. The vespa owners brought their bikes from all over the north west region .. from Liguria, Emilia and Toscana. Places included the Vespa Clubs from La Spezia, Carrara, Fieschi, Lucca, Fortezza di Sarzana, Gorfigliano , Garfagnana, San Vicenzo and Pontedera.
There were even representatives from the Vespa Club of Edinburgh Scotland and as far away as Chicago USA. All called into the Trebbiatura del Grano this afternoon at San Pietro in Campo (article here) to see some of the old agricultural machines in action … oh, and to try some of the cheese and local wine
