Vespa wedding in Barga Vecchia
This morning the Mayor of Barga, Marco Bonini presided over the wedding ceremony of Antonio Maggiore and Laura Biagiotti. An audience of friends and relations completely filled the centuries-old Palazzo Pancrazi as they watched the official joining of the couple before all trooping outside for the traditional showering of the new bride and groom with rice and confetti as they left the building.
Marco Bonini is one of the 35o faithful members of the Barga Vespa Club and so it was right and fitting that the couple should leave Barga Vecchia astride one of those Vespas followed by other members of the club mounted on their trusty steeds.
