Old postcards of Barga
Peter Tonacci from the Barga Genealogy Research Group recently sent into the barganews office some scans of old postcards from Barga.
The postcards dating from around the 1900’s were found by Sharon Martinez from a collection that belonged to her great grandfather who was a Brogotti from Barga.
The Barga Genealogy Research Group is comprised of a small group of genealogists researching their ancestors in the town of Barga. They are a not-for-profit group who have many members from all over the world sharing the goal of furthering their and others genealogy research
They have for a number of years been compiling a database of Barga census records; Birth, Marriage, and Death records
There have been other images of postcards on barganews in the past — who remembers these: old postcards
