On Thursday February 4th, the newcomers to the local music scene, the Barga band “The Salamanders” played in Fornaci di Barga at the pub “Gabbia de’ Matti”.
Once again they took to the stage with a set comprising many of their own penned songs, written by the singer Noah “Heraclitus” Tortelli and Marco Lugliani.
The last time we featured this band was at Gallicano on the occasion of the 30th annual Fiaccolata. As in Gallicano, The Salamanders shared the stage in Fornaci with the rock band Jennifer Three, another band that exclusively plays their own songs written by their singer Luca “Zeh” Lucchesi
Their first gig in Fornaci for the Salamanders but they should feel well satisfied with the turnout at the “Gabbia dei Matti” with some of their fans complaining that the carpark was full forcing latecomers to park a considerable distance from the pub.
The Salamanders’ songlist:
1° Sellin’ Revolution – Noah Tortelli
2° This Fire Won’t Go Out – Noah Tortelli
3° Regrets – Noah Tortelli
4° Redemption Song – Bob Marley
