Over the past few weeks there have been a number of photographers working in and around Barga. The award winning barganews photographer O’Connor has his regular spot on barganews – Daily Images but we thought the the readers would like to see some images taken by another hand and with a different eye but the problem has always been – just where do we put those images. They can’t go onto Daily Images slot after all. So finally this week we thought that there were enough images sent in to the office to justify an article on its own. So here are some images from three different photographers.
David Henry from Halifax Nova Scotia, restauranteur and keen photographer who was here in Barga recently for his first visit.
Jesse Henry, a hotelier in Maine, USA , sharp eyed photographer and one of the most loyal readers of barganews ( there are probably more comments on the site from Jess than any other reader) and a newcomer to the Barga scene … a late entry in the form of Peter Barr, a photographer and writer based in Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland who spent a prolonged stay in the city thanks to a certain Icelandic volcano. All images cropped and labelled copyright barganews by the barganews automatic image software – please ignore this as copyright remains with the photographers featured here: Jesse Henry, David Henry and Peter Barr.
I don't know about the David Henry images, it seems its all about chickens, women, road signs, and building material with him! Same stuff every where he goes!
Mr. Barr, wonderful images, lets see more!
I can definitely see the appeal of Barga through the eyes of these photographers. Beautiful! At risk of sounding like an art dummy, i like the one of the cat…
I'm excited to have discovered BargaNews… Maybe you'd like to send in a guest post about art or artists in Barga to the blog I edit for the regione toscana (see my url link)? Feel free to be in touch!
