Bostonians 12th visit to Barga

Joyce from Boston USA, on her 12th visit to Barga, was in Barga Vecchia this afternoon with 20 of her compatriots for a short visit to the Museum up at the Duomo. From there they gradually moved down the steep steps of Barga Vecchia and took a well earned rest outside of Aristos in Piazza Salvo Salvi.
Marino and Lorenzo were well prepared for their visit as they had laid out tables groaning under the weight of salami, local cheese and prosciutto and of course, their famous local red wine.
The musical was supplied by the accordion of Giuliano Nardi playing out in the piazza and even managing one get one or two of the Bostonians on their feet dancing
The musical show lasted for a couple of hours and then once more they trekked back down the hill to Villa Moorings, their hotel in Barga Giardino.
