The photographer Aldo Castellani was back in Barga this week with an exhibition of his black and white photographs. He last exhibited his work back in 2008 when he brought to the city an exhibition entitled “Tra il bianco e il nero” which showed some of the work that Aldo has been producing over the last 20 years rigorously in black and white. The new exhibition entitled “Mira … nel cuore dell’immagine”, is once again in black and white but this time he has introduced an element of sculpture into his work with the prints being shown on multiple mounted boards in a kind of photographic bas -relief.
