Crisp scarola
Spinach raw
Torn.

Blanketed in sweet balsamic
Savored with salt
And olive oil
Tossed.

Aroused by the scent
Of black pepper
Crushed.

Obsessed with food
You indulge my appetite.

Obsessed with thought
My mind wanders.
