Il 6 febbraio Pieve Fosciana festeggia la festa del Tricolore, divenuta tradizione molto sentita in paese. Si celebra e si ricorda la notte tra il 5 e il 6 febbraio 1831 (ma i documenti indicano il 5/6 marzo) quando alcuni patrioti che erano collegati ai moti rivoluzionari di Ciro Menotti, esposero il primo tricolore in Toscana proprio a Pieve Fosciana, da un edificio del centro.
