This afternoon at 6 pm the Garfagnana Fotografia festival started in Castelnuovo Garfaganana, a series of exhibitions, events, awards, portfolio reading and workshops organised by the Circolo Fotocine.
The inauguration of the festival was in the new location in via Vittorio Emanuele 4, made available by the family of Popi Mannelli, the well-known musician who recently passed away, to whom the room has been dedicated.
He was also remembered with an unpublished piece for saxophone written by Mauro Peccioli and performed on the occasion by Alessandro Rizzardi on sax and Leo Gnesi on double bass.
