An computer course for students of all ages has just opened their doors in Barga Vecchia providing a well needed service to all those who up until now have not been able to join in the digital revolution. The publicity by the Informagiovani di Barga office states quite clearly that their project is aimed at grandmothers, grandfathers , grandsons and daughters and anybody who has not used a computer before and people have taken up their offer of a 4 week free computer course and have already joined. Daniele Picciolo from the Informagiovani di Barga office expressed satisfaction at the wide age range of people now sitting in front of the computers in his office – from 9 to well over 80 years old is a big generational jump but, as he says, they all share that mixture of trepidation and enthusiasm that getting to grips with a computer for the first time always seems to bring.
The course is open from 3 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday 25 Nov, 2-9-16 Dec at the Informagiovani di Barga, via Marconi25 .
