Seventeen students with three of their teachers were in Barga this week from the St Gabriels Primary School (their site is here) in Scotland as part of the continuing twinning process that has been going on successfully for the past few years between Barga and East Lothian.
They were received in the town hall – the Palazzo Pancrazi by the mayor of Barga, Marco Bonini where the culture movement carried on, this time involving songs and flags being exchanged before the students moved on to the real exchange of the day – the pizza party organised at San Pietro in Campo where they got to make and cook their own pizzas.
