Opened this weekend at the Municipal Gallery in Barga Vecchia, a documentary and art exhibition entitled 1946-2016: 70 years of women’s suffrage.
Documents curated by Sara Moscardini, show the story of two elections on March 10th and 2nd June 1946, which saw women from Barga for the first time at the polls.
The second section of the exhibition contains work from local artists and their personal interpretation of issues related to the first 70 years of women’s suffrage.

The exhibition will remain open to the public Monday to Friday 10.00 -18.00 and Saturday and Sunday 15.00- 18.00 until the 19th June.
