This morning at The Cinema Roma in Barga, the Ricci Foundation Onlus and the Istituto Storico Lucchese, section Barga, in collaboration with the Comune of Barga, the Associazione Cento Lumi and with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation and the ISI Barga and Istituto Comprensivo di Barga, organised a day of what could be termed “historical memory” , but also a day of poignant memory for a young man who left us too early, who decided to leave suddenly, but in the province of Lucca where he was known and appreciated as a cartoonist, historical researcher, writer and much more, he left a tangible sign of his passage: Nazareno Giusti.
The cinema was full of people to view the screening of his documentary, “La Provincia di Lucca e la Grande Guerra” – “The Province of Lucca and the Great War” which was produced by Nazareno and Cesare Baldassarri more than a year ago (article here)
The video presented by Fondazione CRL now also featured a special dedication by Nazareno’s family.
NAZARENO riposa in pace.
HAI FATTO CENTRO. – Grazielle Cosimini
But it will also be a day dedicated to the historical memory of the great war, with the presentation of the book concerning the conference that took place at the Ricci Foundation in 2018 entitled “One hundred years from the armistice 1918-2018 ”
The book brings together the speeches of the conference, with texts by Umberto Sereni, Pier Giuliano Cecchi, Vittorio Lino Biondi, Natalia Sereni, Nazareno Giusti, Sara Moscardini, Ivano Stefani, Paolo Salvi and Cristiana Ricci, president of the Ricci Foundation.
The six episodes of the documentary “La provincia di Lucca e la grande guerra” will be broadcast once a week by Noi TV from this Saturday at 9 pm on the program – Il colori del Serchio.
