A definite feeling that change in the air in the city this week.
A feeling of anticipation as the winter is behind us, the spring is here and the new season is just about to start.
The weather isn’t actually helping as it is still unseasonably cold and wet with just a hint of wood burnt smoke in the air as people are still heating their houses in what is the first week in May but there is a definite change somewhere.
This morning down in the Parco Kennedy, volunteers from the Pro Loco and the Goshin-Do club were using high pressure cleaning equipment to clean out the fountain and they are now looking for volunteers to work on repairing some of the damage to the fountain which occurred during the winter.
Up in Barga Vecchia could be heard once again the sound of high-pressure hoses and water spraying in Cafe Capretz which is now under new management and being refurbished ready for their opening sometime later this month or early next month.
