A special event during the ceremony was the presentation of an honorary citizenship which was given to Cristiana Ricci, president of the Ricci Foundation in Barga.

In all of her work shines through the love, the attachment to Barga, the desire to do well for Barga and this is the feeling that prompted us to give this recognition to Cristiana. The new Art Nouveau exhibition in Barga is also evidence of this love of her, where an important piece of the history of Barga is told; where it is done with a passion that only those who love and deeply know this country can express – the mayor Caterina Campani

A deserved citizenship for a woman who has always done so much for Barga in recent years with her foundation; not only for the importance and quantity of cultural and artistic events that every year have enhanced and promoted the offer of Barga, but also for the deep and sincere love for Barga
