In Tuscany, the grecale wind continues to blow, and cold air masses are flowing into the region, bringing local light snowfalls tomorrow (Monday, 12 January) in the more eastern areas.
The situation has prompted the Regional Civil Protection Operations Centre to issue a yellow weather alert for snow from 8 am to midnight on Monday, 13 January
Strong winds
The yellow wind alert issued yesterday for almost all of Tuscany has been extended to the entire day tomorrow and, from 6 am, also expanded to include the Lunigiana and Garfagnana areas.
Grecale gusts could reach 60–70 km/h in the plains, 70–90 km/h in the central-southern hills and central-southern coast, and 100–120 km/h on the ridges.

In Toscana, continua a soffiare il vento di grecale, e masse di aria fredda stanno affluendo nella regione, portando locali nevicate leggere domani (lunedì 12 gennaio) nelle aree più orientali.
La situazione ha spinto il Centro Operativo della Protezione Civile Regionale a emettere un’allerta meteo gialla per neve dalle 8:00 fino alla mezzanotte di lunedì 13 gennaio.
Venti forti
L’allerta gialla per vento, emessa ieri per quasi tutta la Toscana, è stata estesa all’intera giornata di domani e, dalle 6:00, ampliata per includere anche le zone della Lunigiana e della Garfagnana.

Le raffiche di grecale potrebbero raggiungere i 60–70 km/h in pianura, 70–90 km/h nelle colline e sulla costa centro-meridionale, e 100–120 km/h sui crinali.
