A break in the damp weather gave Francesco Feniello the chance to tackle the ancient white marble steps of the Duomo with a high-pressure water cleaner. The stone, long darkened by grime and damp, is now once again shining—just in time for the arrival of Mons. Saverio Cannistrà, the new Bishop of Pisa, who will visit Barga for the first time on the 17th May.

Una breve tregua dal maltempo ha consentito a Francesco Feniello di mettersi al lavoro con l’idropulitrice sui gradini in antico marmo bianco del Duomo. Le pietre, da tempo scolorite e annerite dall’umidità, tornano ora a risplendere — giusto in tempo per la prima visita a Barga del nuovo Vescovo di Pisa, Mons. Saverio Cannistrà, atteso il 17 maggio.
