- Four horrific images of some of the abuse that gnomes have
suffered throughout the ages. Just look at the pain on the face
of image number 1 and the stoic set of the eyes in number 2 .
This is why more and more gnomes are reaching Barga each day
.....to escape this kind of brutality.
- What can be said about image number 3 ? What sort of person
could do this to a gnome ? AND yet, he still manages to smile!
What incredible inner force shines out from that face . And now
we come to image number 4.....Snow White has never really been
the favourite person for lots of the gnome community. She, after
all, kept seven of our brothers in more or less captivity for
a number of years but who could not remain unmoved by this tragic
image of a beheaded Snow White ? Disgusting !!

- All four are now recovering from their awful experiences
at the hands of humans in the European Gnome Sanctuary at Barga
Italy. (The legless gnome has almost fully recovered and is now
working in the local petrol station )
