I love the winter view of the Duomo from the road to Tiglio. I have taken that picture so often in summer but I must say I like the winter version. Keep up the good work. It’s good to have you back in service. One of my summer pictures is here http://www.panoramio.com/photo/269282 from where it is linked to Google Earth. Saluti da Scozia.
I was out on that day too Keane - just north of Castelnuovo. The pictures are here :

..and then further up the valley towards Carrara, this weekend, it begins to look like this : -)
hahaha…ok so this site doesnt allow any HTML ?
Boo Hiss ! C’mon Keane…can you open up the code to allow some html in here?
sorry Hamish but I am a bit skittish at the moment as far as allowing people access to various parts of the site … the forum was put back and hacked inside 5 minutes of it being back up …and I do mean inside 5 minutes. … I hadn’t had time to even sort out the various permissions for access to the forum when somebody kindly it scrubbed out for me. I will be opening up the site very shortly so that people can not only comment on articles already published but they will be able to publish their own articles directly onto the front page. I just need to sort out a few more details so that we can do this without endangering the whole site - the registration to read whole articles is part of that process. Taking things slowly and a step at a time.
Ah…ok - sorry to hear about your hacking issues - No consolation but we had similar issues at the university on several occasions a year ago….and there was a huge amount of time and money spent on plugging the holes and sealing the gaps- but they still got it in
In the end I moved everything to another server which seems a good deal more secure and have become much more security conscious …. only registered members can now read or write these comments which is much safer than the old comments system so I do think that shortly I can put back in the possibility of “some” HTML commenting … what do you reckon ?
Si - va bene
