The Cardiff International Academy of Voice with the Welsh tenor Dennis O’Neill were in the Palazzo Pancrazi this morning at the start of their innovative joint project with Opera Barga.
From 24 May to 1 June they will be running a series of masterclasses for budding professional singers with the potential to embark on a career in opera.
Participants in the course will give a special concert for schoolchildren, as an introduction to opera, in Barga on the morning of 29 May.
There will also be three public concerts, open to all and free of charge:
