Limited edition Ape Calessino

Legendary motorcycle producer is Piaggio is bringing the "Ape-Calessino" back to life. The three-wheeled motorcar was made famous during Italy's "Dolce Vita" phase in the 1950s and 60s. The "Ape-Calessino's" new design makes it safer and more manageable than ever before. The three-wheeler boasts a blue body, cream-colored seat, white striped tires and tropical wood inlays. It seats three passengers in addition to the drive. Production is limited to just 999 vehicles….. and one of those is now sitting in Barga . The restaurant Da Riccardo just outside the main gates of Barga Vecchia have after a three month wait, finally got their hands on one. The vehicle will be used for weddings, other special occasions or quite simply for moving luggage through the narrow streets of Barga Vecchia.
