One of the many exhibitions of paintings taking place this summer in Barga Vecchia finished today in the chiostro of the Palazzo Balduini but we could not let it slip under the radar without publishing some images of the work. 

Silvana Luti was showing some of her recent paintings in an exhibition called Osservare <_> Osservarsi.

Silvana is known in this area for her work in the theatre but this exhibition shows that she is just as accomplished as a painter, making a series of works, often with a plaster base and using gold leaf that give the appearance of untouchable medieval religious icons but at the same time, cry out to be touched and handled.
