Pleasing to see the Barga Jazz Club full of members this evening enjoying the quality live jazz on offer. Barga has been like a ghost town the past few weeks as the festivities over Christmas/new year/befana took a toll on many people's wallets, stomachs and energy levels leaving the streets and bars almost empty as stay-at-home became the order of the day. The virulent flu bug rushing through the city has not helped matters forcing many people to their beds but not so the die hard jazz fanatics who were out in numbers this evening enjoying the varied sounds emanating from: Alessandro Rizzardi on Saxaphone | Leo Gnesi on Double Bass | Pierino Orsi on drums | Simone Venturi on keyboards
