Prizegiving for the A.S Barga Football club

There have been posters up all over the city stating that “AS Barga – the festa continues” and it appears to have been true as since they won promotion (article here) there has been one Festa after another, first with a long and noisy convoy of cars running right through the territory followed by a huge party with Brazilian dancers in the streets, then another gala night at a local hotel and today the whole team was out in force in Barga Vecchia for their prizegiving party. It seemed this afternoon that everybody got prizes, T-shirts, hats and certificates and then came the big moment that everybody had been waiting for as the huge trophy was lifted up by the president of A.S Barga, Guido Mori in front of his cheering supporters.
Also present at this afternoons proceedings were the Band Musicale of Barga who played a selection of what was termed as “patriotic music”
