8th Musical Band Exchange Concert

For the 8th year running this evening in Barga Vecchia a concert featuring the sound of two different musical bands – The Ass. Musicale G.Rossini from Pieve Fosciana in Garfagnana and the Filarmonica G.Luporini from Barga. Both marched into Piazza Angelio with their banners furled and with trumpets and drums playing. The band from Pieve started off the evening with a series of music ranging from patriotic songs to show tunes. The local band then took the stage and continued the evening with a medley of songs that even passed through the Star Wars theme at one point.

Un concerto bandistico la sera di sabato 14 giugno in Piazza Angelio. Si tratta dell’ottavo scambio tra le bande musicali di Pieve Fosciana e di Barga che prevede appunto l’esibizione delle due bande in un concerto di musiche che spazierà dagli inni patriottici fino alla musica leggera.
L’appuntamento è previsto per le ore 21 ed in caso di maltempo quasi sicuramente il concerto dovrebbe tenersi sotto la Loggia dei Mercanti in Piazza Salvi.
