It would appear that there is some rough weather on the way. All the weather forecasts today are talking about thunderstorms, torrential rain and then a cold spell right behind it which could mean snow up on the mountains surrounding Barga before the weekend. The skiers in Barga are all rubbing their hands with glee at the probable early start of the winter season.
We shall see. In the meantime it’s probably the right moment to publish a few images from around Barga taken by the award winning photographer O’Connor (site here) of the beautiful muted autumn colours out in the woods before the rain pulls them all the ground.
