It’s been a long couple of months. A very frustrating time spent telephoning telecom on a daily basis to complain about the lack of service here in Barga Vecchia. So far I have personally talked with over 60 people on their answering service. I have never been able to find the same person more than once and so I have had to explain over and over the same story to 60 different people BUT finally today we are back up and on line with the weather station for Barga – www.bargaweather.com This also means that the barganews webcams are running again. There has been a blank space on the front page for the past 8 weeks where the image of Sommocolonia should have been …. that space has now been filled once again. …. a huge sigh of relief all round. To celebrate we will shortly been offering a new webcam for the barganews readers … the nestcam .. a peek into the life of the swallows that nest each year in Barga before once more returning across the Mediterranean sea to Africa.
