After a gap of some years finally this week in Barga Vecchia was opened an exhibition featuring work by the Barga painter Fabrizio Gianni. Continuing health problems has meant that Fabrizio has been off the art scene and more or less hidden away from the public for the past few years but this had not stopped him from producing his by now, well identifiable art. In fact in the exhibition there are a collection of his paintings covering the last decade with his early abstracted duomo paintings and moving on to his more recent figurative stage. The exhibition has been administered and assembled by Leonardo Turri and will remain on view until the 19th August.
