The Snow is back

Just when you thought that all the bad weather was over and done with, at first light this morning Barga woke up once more to a good layer of snow on the ground. It has now been lightly snowing all day with the temperature hovering around the zero mark on the thermometer meaning as dusk falls once again moving around the area could be difficult. The Comune workers have been out all day clearing the snow from the footpaths using the traditional method of a strong back, pliant wrists and a good shovel so moving around on foot should be easier but as the night draws in and the temperature drops the roads will once again be subject to icy patches. The weather forecast says snow can be expected right up until tomorrow evening with depths of up to 20 cm in places.
Here we go again.
