Il Giornalino di Gian Burrasca in Musical
La compagnia dei Differenti è una compagnia formata dall’ex “Novochoro” gruppo proveniente dal coro di voci bianche “Piccoli Usignoli di Barga”. Dopo esperienze di musical quali “La notte finirà” - “Un’avventura per un’altro burattino” - “Sette spose per sette fratelli”..adesso propongono al loro pubblico - “Il Giornalino di Gian Burrasca in Musical” Le avventure e disavventure del “tremendo” ragazzino raccontate nel libro- giornalino di Vamba che lo dedicava ai …ragazzi d’Italia perché lo facciano leggere ai loro genitori… sono state elaborate da Riccardo Pieri che le ha trascritte per il teatro nella versione della commedia musicale. La Boheme di Giacomo Puccini e Il signor Bruschino
Dopo il successo della “prima” la decisione del bis In scena venerdì 18 aprile al Teatro dei Differenti (ore 21) il III e IV atto dell’opera La Boheme di Giacomo Puccini e Il signor Bruschino, opera in un atto di Gioacchino Rossigni, con gli studenti del Cardiff International Academy of Voice. Si tratta della replica dopo il successo della prima svoltasi mercoledì scorso. Da qui la decisione di un nuovo appuntamento con l’opera. L’ingresso è libero e aperto a tutti gli appassionati del celebre compositore.
Gli interpreti sono i cantanti del masterclass dell’Università di Cardiff seguiti dal tenore gallese, famoso in tutto il mondo, Dennis O’Neill. I due allestimenti in programma in forma scenica sono preparati dal direttore Massimiliano Murrali, direttore e maestro collaboratore presso la Stadts Oper di Monaco di Baviera e dal regista Carlo Da Prato.
Da ricordare che nei giorni scorsi alle prove dell’opera hanno partecipato oltre 300 alunni delle scuole di Barga, fra Comprensivo e Superiore, entusiasti di aver assistito alla preparazione dell’evento da dietro le quinte. Gastone at the Teatro dei Differenti
Live theatre this evening from the Teatro dei Differenti in Barga … and by live theatre, I really do mean - live theatre. Last year there were a series of productions coming to Barga which were really just sketches from TV shows using TV personalities as their selling point and which do not draw from the vast theatrical culture that there is in Italy. It was so refreshing this evening to see a real dancing, singing, acting cast all working together with the audience to provide a great evenings entertainment of a type that only the theatre can provide. GVS, Befana, L’edicola and bad weather
Well what a strange run up to Christmas it has been in Barga this year. The recent very damp weather has disrupted most, if not all of the usual annual events in the city leaving the place with a somewhat desolate feel as the odd group of people wander through the streets huddled under their umbrellas looking for something, anything to catch their attention.

Paolo Rossi plays Garibaldi at Evocava
Statues, like the human beings they glorify, are prey to a life cycle. They have their moment in the sun, presiding over city squares and gardens, until their subjects fade from public memory or are summarily tossed into the ash heap of political history.

Concerto Ensemble le Musiche in Barga
Continuing a series of concerts by Ensemble Le Musiche, organised in collaboration with Simone Bernardini. Alessandro Benvenuti and Il Mitico 11
The theatre production of Il Mitico 11 written by Alessandro Benvenuti with the regia, Barga’s own Carlo Da Prato which premiered at the Teatro dei Differenti in January was back this evening for a special gala performance, this time with the added presence of the writer, actor and humourist, Alessandro Benvenuti.
Stefano Gragnani supplying the change of tone, rhythm and colour necessary for the tour de force from Giulio Federico Janni - a veritable torrent of words and images coming out non stop from the man.

Emozione e musica at the Teatro dei Differenti
Standing room only last night and people were turned away from the theatre as all tickets were sold out for a show aptly named “emozione and musica”.
Ten years after his death, the brother, cousins and daughters of the Barga musician Alessandro Cosimini finally managed to get a commemoration show on to the stage to celebrate his life and music.

Ci sono idee – frammenti di luce, indizi di storie – che incontri una volta e non ti lasciano più. Erano anni che tenevo chiusa in qualche cassetto della mente la traccia di un Processo a Dio all’indomani della Shoah. Immaginavo quel processo come una resa dei conti: violenta, acuta, drastica.
Sicuramente un appuntamento non più rimandabile, un guardarsi negli occhi fra terra e cielo. Tutto questo stava in quel cassetto, insieme a squarci di azione, atmosfere abbozzate, profili delineati come uno schizzo al carboncino.
