Hidden Barga - images from O'Connor

One of the strange things about living in such a beautiful place as Barga is believe it or not, you end up not seeing it - you take it for granted. It becomes invisible.

You don't believe me? How about a little test. I have a feeling that most of the inhabitants of Barga are only seeing the city up to say 2 metres from the ground. Anything above that 2 metre line is ignored.

We sent out the barganews award winner photographer O'Connor to test out this theory. He spent a morning photographing Barga Vecchia but only above the 2 metre line.
