Faster internet connection finally coming to Barga ?

"I was driving up the Mologno road last night when I saw a very long neatly cut groove in the side of the road. A 3 inch diameter empty black plastic tube was being laid in the channel. Further up the Mologno road, towards the beginning of Barga is Telecoms main telephone switching system.. Now I wonder if what I saw was the first few hundred meters of Fast internet…. ? "

I saw the cut groove yesterday up from the main road and wondered the very same ?
Do you know for sure this is where the telephone exchange is in the town ? - this is where they'll add the cabinet to the existing exchange and ADSL enable the local area However.....well spotted and I think the process has begun
