Simone Franchi is marrying Lucille Heather Hassan
The wedding: Little Manly Point Manly 2095 Sydney Australia at 17:00 pm
Reception: Moson Masonic Center M from 19;00 to 01.00 am…
Party: The Lee’s 01.30 Am (live on web)
That was posted up on the barganews forum this week …and the party just kept on coming. A webcam was set up in the L’osteria in Piazza Angelio in Barga for 30 guest and another in Sydney Australia, this time for 130 guests.
The two groups were united with the images from Australia being shown over a large screen in the L’osteria and the sound of the party on the other side of the world coming out of the PA system.

Ciao,
1Love, 1World, 1Family
Thank you Simone .. we too enjoyed your marriage day. It was something that barganews has wanted to do for some time .. a simultaneous web event.
It was fun to see just how small the world has become but also at the same time paradoxically just how really large it is. Just think of this … on barganews yesterday there were images and sounds more or less in real time from two rooms. In one room the date was 1st April, it was night time and in the middle of summer …we could see people in shorts, fans over head keeping them cool as they danced. In the other room (here in Barga ) it was still 31st March, daylight and people wearing overcoats to keep warm …. and yet we were linked, enjoying each others company.
The party really was taking place simultaneously but a world apart.
I think at this point we also need a word of thanks to Riccardo and Tommy at the L’Osteria who set up the link, webcams, huge monitor and ran the event so successfully.
