The operabarga festival celebrated its 40th year with an exhibition of photographs, leaflets and posters dating back over all of the 40 years of opera production.
Included in the exhibition were original stage and costume designs by Gillian Hunt, the originator of the festival together with her husband Peter.
The exhibition was presented by the Istituto Storico Lucchese and opened at the Teatro dei Differenti with the tape being cut by the grandson of Gillian and Peter.

L’OperaBarga Festival ha celebrato il suo 40º anniversario con una mostra di fotografie, volantini e manifesti che ripercorrevano tutti i quarant’anni di produzione operistica.
Nella mostra erano esposti anche i bozzetti originali per scene e costumi realizzati da Gillian Hunt, fondatrice del festival insieme al marito Peter.
La mostra è stata presentata dall’Istituto Storico Lucchese e inaugurata al Teatro dei Differenti, con il taglio del nastro affidato al nipote di Gillian e Peter.
