Over 100 works including drawings, oils and many pastels from an artist who has been more or less forgotten about in his native town of Lucca – the last large exhibition of his work was way back in 1979.
The Foundation Ricci here in Barga decided that the time was ripe for an exhibition covering more than 40 years of his working life with oil paintings from Naples in 1924 through to pastels of the Lugano executed in 1970.
The exhibition will remain open right through the summer until the 14th September at the Fondazione Ricci Onlus – Via Roma 20 Barga . For further information 0583 724 357
