…and the beat just keeps on coming. The Sunday evening sessions at Aristo’s just keep getting better and better. This Sunday they even managed to briefly draw in a bagpipe player (article here) but the accent this week was not on any Celtic based music but instead well and truly dedicated to swing.
Fabio Guazzelli on guitar providing a strong rhythm background for Alessandro Rizzardi on mandolin and Luca Giovacchini on guitar to weave their Django Reinhart based tapestry. A video below goes some way to giving you the feel to Aristo’s as these musicians sat and enjoyed the music, company … and of the course – the red wine.
So just what is happening in some of these images ? Well this what happens when there is football on the TV, the bar is waiting to shut but the musicians are not yet ready to leave.
Click on the link at the bottom of this article hear Par Sands on the bagpipes before the rest of the musicians launched into a stirring “left leaning” branch of the musical family.
