A sad image this week in Barga Vecchia as Giuliano Moscardini, known by one and all as “Tanica” takes down the heavy wooden sign that has been hanging over his premises for the past 7 years. The Rosticceria da Tanica is changing ownership and Tanica is moving on.
A quick check in the barganews archives brings up the article that we published on the day he opened – it is here showing Tanica and his wife as the ribbon was cut for the opening.
barganews archive 2004 – It has been a long time coming but finally Tanica and his wife opened up the Rosticceria da Tanica this morning in Barga Vecchia. A crowd of well wishers filled the place as they sampled some of the food on offer and watched a tearful Tanica wiping his eyes as the tape for the opening was cut.
Its now official… the place is open for business!
Well done Tanica ! All the staff at barganews wish you and your wife all the best in your new venture.
