A Belgian animal rights group recently went to the Nimes bull fighting arena in France to protest against bullfighting.
They had a tight plan. People in the stands would wave banners to draw attention to themselves. While the actual visitors were looking the other way a second group of activists would climb down to the arena floor and chain themselves together in a circle.
The thought behind it was that the police would be called and the proceedings disrupted for hours while the local cops tried to remove the protesters.
However, the police was never called, the visitors to the bullfight took matters into their own hands and if we’ve learned one thing it is not to annoy local French farmers.
Ding dong round 2.
