It was already a cut and dried event a week ago; Juventus had won this year’s Serie A Championships and so last Sunday (article here) their supporters were out in force in a very noisy cavalcade of cars waving flags and generally enjoying themselves but there was still one game to go, win or lose it made no difference the championship was theirs. As it happens this afternoon they beat Atalanta 3-1 to become the second Italian side to win the title by going the whole season unbeaten.
So out came the flags, horns, scarves and banners and the cavalcade of cars set off once more around the area informing any of those who had not yet heard that Juventus were the champions.
