A plaque was unveiled in Barga Vecchia by the Fondazione Ricci, Instituto Storico Lucchese and the Comune of Barga to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of the historian Antonio Nardini (Barga 1922 – Barga 2020) .
This was then followed by a meeting in the Palazzo Pancrazi where speeches were made celebrating the life of Antonio Nardini and the presentation the first winner in the Premio di Studio Storico Antonio Nardini – Viola Colombini for her thesis on “La Pieve di Loppia”.
