Il Serchio delle Muse after the difficult year of 2020, when our Maestro and founder Luigi Roni, died from Covid 19, in March, has formed a new committee with Fosco Bertoli as president.
Fosco Bertoli from the Foundation Banca del Monte and vice president of the association “Compriamo a Castelnuovo” was one of the founders of Serchio delle Muse in 2008. He wishes to continue the work of Luigi Roni bringing music ,art and culture to the beautiful piazzas in the Garfagnana.
The committee comprises:
President: Fosco Bertoli.
Honorary President: Claudio Roni
Vice presidents: Imogen McNamara and Michele Salotti
Artistic Directors Matteo Marcalli, musician
Michael Salotti, lawyer and musician, Maestro Ugo Menconi, and Paolo Rinaldi event’s organiser.
Financial Director: Giuseppe Lucchesi
Counsellors: Maria Bruni Caproni, Matteo, Marcalli, Ugo Menconi, Paolo Rinaldi
We have planned a program of concerts for the summer season in Barga, Borgo a Mozzano, Castelnuovo, Gallicano, Carregine, Castiglione and Correglia.
There will also be three special concerts to pay tribute to Luigi Roni, one in the piazza in front of the Maestro’s home at Calomini, another in collaboration with the Pascoli Foundation at Casa Pascoli, and the last one at the Pania delle Croce.
