Eleonora Bertoli Barsotti opens her first solo show at the museo delle stanze della memoria in Barga Vecchia.
The exhibition is made up of photographic, pictorial and drawing works, connected to each other by the presence of the creatures, or insects, which inspired the artist’s imagination.
The photographic aspect of the exhibition shows the insects in their natural environment, observed and “captured” in moments of intimacy.
The pictorial and illustrative side, on the other hand, represents fantastic worlds where these creatures relive as a dominant species in environments devoid of human beings, inspired by the works of Hieronymus Bosch.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until the 7th September.
